Start your new year with deep reflection to open and invite positive sustainable change
 

With the beginning of the year often comes a long list of New Year resolutions!  Amazingly, some are able to stick with these changes but for many of us the feeling of disappointment slowly sinks in over-time as we discover how unsustainable these changes really are.

What would it be like to ease into the New Year?

What would it be like to take the pressure off, to reconnect with the deepest part of ourselves and to discover what it is that we really need in the moment?

Through gentle movement, breath work, meditation and visulisation we have the opportunity to observe our patterns and our tendencies, to build self-awareness and self-acceptance.

 

Within this 2.5 hour workshop we will have the opportunity to delve into some yogic philosophy, to explore how this plays out in our own practice and lives and to move towards gentle but powerful and sustainable change.  Expect some physical yoga practice as well as private reflection/journaling, group discussion and ritual.

 

Through this combination of yoga practices and approaches,  this workshop is designed to assist participants in revealing their deepest values; and will support them in designing how these can be brought to life in a practical and meaningful way.

Note: You are always welcome to engage with the session as much or as little as you choose and you’re always welcome to do what you need to do in the moment to create more safety for yourself.

 Yoga Therapy for

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

5 week online course

Date: Wednesday 3rd Feb - 3rd March

Time: 6:00-7:00pm
Studio: Online

Investment:  $125 per person (5 weeks)

Join us for 5 weeks of yoga designed to support those living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This practice includes gentle yoga movements to build circulation, restorative yoga forms to promote deep rest to restore and rejuvenate your mind and your body; and breathing techniques to create a re-set in your nervous system. This course will also incorporate mindfulness based practices designed build your capacity to be with your present moment experience and potentially change the relationship with your body.  


On completion of the course a voice recording of the weekly relaxation practice will be sent through to each participant for their own personal use.


The course includes an intake form to be completed at the beginning of the course and an evaluation form at the end. This gives me an idea of how I can best support you throughout the course and this also gives me an idea of what has been most useful.


What you might need: 
Restoration is a big part of this course and it can be useful to have some items handy to use to provide support and comfort for your body.  Some items that may be useful are blankets, pillows cushions and towels. Weighted items can also be useful such as sandbags or wheat packs.

These sessions will be facilitated online via Zoom
