Transition into Summer
Yin & Yang Practice
The inclusion of both yin and yang, supple and strong practices, cultivates balance in our body and mind as well as through the koshas.
The yang (stronger, dynamic) part of ourselves is important to cultivate as it creates action and allows us to get things done.
However to create down time and actually connect to the quieter, calmer part of ourselves (the yin) is equally essential.
Join two Melbourne Yoga Therapists, Caroline Giles from Experience Yoga and Erika Newberry from Change with Yoga
at the change of seasons, to create a shift in your energy into Summer.
The Yang sequence with Caroline includes longer holds in stable postures and energising pranayama practices.
The Yin sequence with Erika enhances the Heart and Small Intestine meridians and the fire element, relevant to Summer.

Yoga for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
5 week course
Date: Wednesdays, Coming Soon
Investment: $125 per person (5 weeks)
Join us for 5 weeks of yoga designed to support those living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This practice includes gentle yoga movements to build circulation, restorative yoga forms to promote deep rest to restore and rejuvenate your mind and your body; and breathing techniques to create a re-set in your nervous system. This course will also incorporate mindfulness based practices designed build your capacity to be with your present moment experience and potentially change the relationship with your body.
On completion of the course a voice recording of the weekly relaxation practice will be sent through to each participant for their own personal use.
The course includes an intake form to be completed at the beginning of the course and an evaluation form at the end. This gives me an idea of how I can best support you throughout the course and this also gives me an idea of what has been most useful.
What you might need:
Restoration is a big part of this course and it can be useful to have some items handy to use to provide support and comfort for your body. Some items that may be useful are blankets, pillows cushions and towels. Weighted items can also be useful such as sandbags or wheat packs.
These sessions will be facilitated online via Zoom

Yin Sound Spa
This workshop is a unique opportunity to experience yin yoga immersed in soothing sound vibrations.
Yin yoga is designed to target the more subtle tissues of your body such as fascia, ligaments, tendons and bones, and works closely with meridian theory; promoting healthy chi flow. Together we’ll journey through a full body yin practice while bathing in the healing sounds and vibrations of the singing bowl and gong! These sounds are delivered in specific tones designed to resonate with the part of your body we’re targeting in the yin sequence.
This workshop is perfect if you’re in need of some YOU time and if you are curious about the energy body.
